So, rapid weight loss after c section delivery, is possible? Let’s dive in and see.

First of all, if you want to lose that weight without doing any nutritional changes, you need to be patient.

It can take months to attain your long-term objective.

Remember that you didn’t gain the entire weight of your pregnancy in one week!

It takes some time to create something beautiful. 🥰

Breastfeed Regularly

Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to lose weight after a baby is born.

Breastfeeding consumes a lot of energy in addition to providing your kid with all of the nutrients it needs.

Breast-feeding relies on fat cells deposited in your body during pregnancy, as well as calories from your food, to fuel milk production and nourish your child.

Even if you follow the guidelines to eat an extra 300 to 500 calories each day to maintain your energy and milk production during breast-feeding, weight loss can occur.

Drink Plenty of Waterhttps://catharinasjourney.site/story

Not only is hydration important for milk production, but it also helps you resist cravings.

Cravings can sometimes be an indication that you need to drink because you’re dehydrated.

Your body wants to get back to a normal state, an advice is to set an alarm on your phone 2 times a day, telling you to drink a glass of water.

Make sure that you don’t drink soda or other beverages with lots of sugar added to them.

Try to Get Some Sleep

important to get some sleep after c section

I know, it’s hard to expect to sleep like a princess when you’ve just given birth and have a new little family member to look after.

However

According to doctors, lack of sleep has an impact on not only breast-milk supply but also metabolism, dietary choices, and hunger sensations.

If you don’t get enough sleep, there is a high chance that you’ll grab a snickers or some other low-nutrient snack for a quick energy boost.

I know, there isn’t much time to cook with a baby that needs your attention, that’s why I really recommend you to read my story below.

That is, if pushing a button on a blender and losing 20 pounds in a month sounds interesting.

At the top of this post, I left a link to my story

Chew Slowly to Lose Weight

https://catharinasjourney.site/story

This might sound like hogwash but is actually true.

If you take your time chewing your food, the brain will have enough time getting signals from your stomach that you are full.

Meaning, if you are stressed and just want to eat as fast as possible, you will oftentimes eat way more than you actually need.

Try to stop eating once you’re not feeling hungry anymore or at roughly 80% of your usual intake.

Rebuild Stability

rebuild stability after c section

Squats and planks, which focus on stability rather than rotation or extension, assist women who have had C-sections to rebuild and strengthen their cores and pelvic floors.

Your pelvic floor might be traumatized even if you did not deliver your kid vaginally.

Concentrate on mild exercises that will improve the health of your entire body, not just your stomach.

Always check in with a health professional before doing any exercises if you feel unsure about how much your body can take.

That’s it for this little post, I hope you got some tips out of it.

You have a wonderful time ahead, having a little mini-you around.

Have a lovely day

God Bless
