Participating in Online Poker and Tracking Your own personal Play

I was developing a conversation with a fellow online poker player about tracking their online play. Most of you most likely do this somehow, and this specific player was doing an excellent job of it. This jogged my memory of how important keeping track of your play can be.

Whenever you play online poker, you probably perform a wide variety of ‘types of video games. Most of us do. You might perform anything from a cash video game to a Sit n Proceed, to Multi-Table Tournaments, 9-handed, 6-handed, Heads up, etc.

Many players play games besides NL Hold’em, such as Button, Omaha, HORSE, Razz, and others. So the question is, are you playing the very best, and which games are you currently the most PROFITABLE at?

A significant number of online poker players how to start the answer to this question. It would help if you had some database (many gamers use a software program) to where you are making money, or in some instances, losing money.

For example, you may believe that you are a great Omaha H/L player, but the actual numbers do not bear that out over time. You may not enjoy Razz, but show the profit at the game. Or even, here is what I find usually, you play a lot of 6-Handed NL SnG’s, but you are, in fact, way more profitable at 9-handed.

Another trend that tends to come up within a player’s game is that they are certainly more profitable at one-degree buy-in than an additional. This is very common, so you should identify this trend then adjust what game titles you are playing.

Bandarqq – Remember, belief is not always a reality for your poker game. Just because you think that you play well with $20+$2 Sit n Go’s, is that really where you are generating your money at? The quantities will not lie to you.

To put it briefly, the better you track your play for profitability to determine where you are making money and what your location is losing money, the more success for yourself will be as a poker person. Your bankroll will alter up rather than down, and you will find some truths with your game that you were could be.
