It’s agreed by the Fitbit Versa 2 Reviews that Fitbit’s name has been linked with fitness trackers since the company’s beginnings.
However, in recent years, the business has expanded into the smartwatch market to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch and Samsung’s wearable lines. Fitbit even acquired Pebble’s remaining assets to assist this.

The $199.99 Versa 2, which will be available in shops on September 15th, is the company’s newest smartwatch endeavor. As the name suggests, it is an evolution of the Versa, with a few design changes, a handful of new features, and the same price.
It’s a better Versa and a fantastic fitness tracker. However, it is not a superior smartwatch in general.
The first Versa was one of the most comfortable smartwatches to wear, and the Versa 2 is just as comfy. It’s not too big, not too tiny, and should fit a wide range of wrist sizes.
It’s also quite light, and the tapered shape conceals the size of the watch nicely. The Versa 2 is one of the only wearables I’ve been able to wear comfortably 24 hours a day, including while sleeping.
The Fitbit Versa 2 Reviews retains its overall appearance, but Fitbit has reduced the interactions from the prior multibuttoned configuration to a single button on the left and the touchscreen.
However, the Versa 2 retains all its functionality, allowing you to accomplish anything you could do with the original Versa.
I wish Fitbit had made changing straps on this model easier — the Versa straps feature quick-release pins, but the mount is so sunken into the watch’s body that getting the pins to click into place is tough, especially with the supplied rubber strap.
My testing package came with a nice perforated leather strap that was considerably easier to attach, but it would set you back an additional $50.
Fitbit Versa 2 Reviews: Fitbit has replaced Versa’s LCD with an OLED screen, which is the most significant change that the Versa 2 offers.
It’s bright and vivid, and it’s easy to see both inside and out. In direct sunshine and with polarized sunglasses, I had no trouble viewing the screen.
The OLED panel also supports the new always-on display function, which allows you to constantly check the time or the status of your workout.
Fitbit Versa 2 Reviews – The always-on function, on the other hand, offers extremely little customizability (you can only select between digital and analog clocks) and disables the raise-to-wake feature, so you must double-tap the screen or push the side button to wake the watch.
All the fitness features from the original Versa are carried over, including intelligent workout recognition, always-on heart rate monitoring, and sleep-tracking capabilities.
This year’s edition is a Sleep Score, which attempts to compress your sleep-tracking data into an “X out of 100” evaluation of how well you slept.
Fitbit Versa 2 Reviews: During my time with Versa 2, I averaged a Sleep Score of 76, which the app categorizes as “fair.” Fitbit claims that this function will be available on all its devices that contain heart rate monitors.
Finally, Fitbit claims it’s working on a Smart Wake alarm function that will try to wake you up at the ideal moment in your sleep cycle, but it won’t be available until later this year, and I won’t be able to test it.

The positive battery in the Fitbit Versa 2 lasts for days and days. In conclusion, The Versa 2 is an excellent fitness tracker and smartwatch combination, but it lacks built-in GPS, which may be a deal-breaker for runners. It’s still one of the finest under-$200 wearables on the market.
